  1. More great images from wordsmith. Awesome. Wish you and your loved ones the best of times in 2014, Miss Sibylle. This is probably strange to you, but when I think of New Mexico I usually don’t think of snow. How little I know. Peace.

    • Thank you Mr. DharmaBeachBum, I hope that you and yours also have a prosperous and fulfilling 2014. I live at roughly 8,500 feet of altitude and as a result, it’s usually about 10 to 15 degrees colder here than say, in Albuquerque. The Taos area ski resorts are also famed… some winters the higher mountain areas get 300 inches of snowfall. The snow feeds the acequia irrigation system, making farming at the lower altitudes possible.
